Muslim Scholars Urged to Support Holy Quds
TEHRAN (IQNA) – An official with the Palestinian resistance movement Islamic Jihad called on Muslim scholars to support the holy city of Jerusalem al-Quds and stand up against the Zionist regime’s aggressive plans.
Muhammad al-Hindi said Muslims worldwide who take to the streets to demand an end to occupation of Quds need support and efforts from scholars.
Al-Hindi was speaking at an online forum titled “Muslim Ummah’s Scholars for Helping Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque”.
He further slammed US President Donald Trump’s so-called “deal of the century” plan for Palestine and stressed that the Islamic Jihad will continue its Jihad and resistance until the full liberation of Palestine.
Scholars from 19 countries attended the online forum on Saturday to discuss the role of Islamic thinkers and scholars in supporting the cause of Palestine.
